An event has been held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee within the framework of the project "Protection of National and moral values in the Era of Globalization" organized by the Public Union “For Dialogue and Development”. The event was held with the financial assistance of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) of Azerbaijan.

 

The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played first, and the dear memory of our heroes who died for the territorial integrity and independence of our country was commemorated with a minute of silence.

 

Making a welcoming speech, Islam Huseynov, the head of the department of educational and methodological work organization of the Academy of the State Customs Committee, greeted the guests and noted that our nation has made great progress with its national and moral values, and the country's leadership has paid serious attention to the promotion of the national values and the education of our youth in this spirit.

 

Speaking about the importance of the project, the Chairman of the "For Dialogue and Development" Public Union, Chingiz Bayramov stressed that for every country and people, its national and moral values should be prioritized above all else, and these values should always be defended.

 

Later, Gunay Hajiyeva, a board member of the "For Dialogue and Development" Public Union, provided detailed information about the project.

 

Speaking on the topic "Youth and moral values in Islam", the head of the Department of Islamic Studies of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology, PhD in theology, associate professor Ahmad Niyazov emphasized the importance of youth in Islam. He also provided valuable information on moral values and youth.

 

Board member of "For Dialogue and Development" Public Union, Dr. Aydin Talishinski talked about the importance of state policy in protecting national and moral values in Azerbaijan.

 

Later, Vidadi Mammadov, a board member of "For Dialogue and Development" stressed that it is the moral duty and duty of every Azerbaijani to preserve our national and moral values, which have been passed down from generation to generation throughout history. 

 

Following the event, the guests got acquainted with the work done in the Academy.
